New Scholar Briefings - August 2019
New Beacon Schools and University Scholars and their parents were welcomed to separate Schools and University Programme Briefings in Nairobi.
The Briefings were designed as an introduction to The Beacon Scholarship Programme, and to facilitate an understanding of the leadership development focus of the programme including Workshops, Target-setting and Mentoring. A Pre-departure Briefing was also provided for University Scholars.
The Briefings were followed by refreshments where some current Scholars were present to talk to new Scholars and share their experiences. Here are some pictures of the event:
